MAROUBRA: Project 2

Scope of Works: To bulk excavate underneath existing dwelling to create a rumpus/entertaining room.

Martin’s Comments: This was a challenging job with high detailed requirements which required very careful planning. We had to excavate nearly 400 tonne of sand from underneath the existing dwelling and as access was tight at the side (760mm wide), we were limited in the machinery we could use. We built special ramps and managed to squeeze a mini excavator down the side of the house and then all sand was manually drawn away using wheel barrows.

Even though the job was demanding, this was a fantastic project to work on and we are very proud of the finished product.

Owner's Comments: The owner's were thrilled with the final result. (Read Richard & Ellen's testimonial here)
