BATHROOM RENOVATION

Scope of Works: A nice design in the 90’s, this bathroom had become tired and dated and in need of an update and a more contemporary look.

Martin's Comments: The layout was already quite functional but I advised a slight tweaking to the design which would allow the owners to incorporate a larger vanity into the room and a large mirror. This complemented the family bathroom much better.

It had historic waterproofing issues and this was the first thing to be sorted out. The room was stripped back and we started again from scratch.

The owners requested a hobless, open ended shower but for the water to flow into the drain properly, the floor had to raised enough to pitch the tile into the drain.

A large fixed overhead rain showerhead was installed and a recessed shelf in the shower area.

Owner's Comments: The owners were extremely pleased with the renovation.
